Both of my latest projects are found in Weekend Knitting by Melanie Falick. I'm working on a pair of gloves to match my winter coat. The pattern will make a pair for a women's medium size. Well, my hands are pretty small. So, I had to make some adjustments. Instead of size 5 needles, I dropped to size 3. I started the gloves and they were still too big. So I ripped it out and reduced the number of stitches. I think I did quite well for it to be the first time I made adjustments for a pair of gloves.
These cute accessory bags were made with black wool and felted. For an added touch, I taught myself to crochet flowers today. It was super fun. If you ever need a tutorial, YouTube will usually have one.
