I've been working on this bag for most of December for Amanda. She picked it out from one of my favorite books Weekend Knitting by Melanie Falick. It is knitted very large with 100% wool and felted down. It turned out much sturdier than I thought it would. You really could put anything in it. It is very thick. This is the first patterned project that I've done. It was very stringy on the inside until it was felted. That really gave it the thickness that will be great for a purse or bag.
