I do have my sewing machine back and have worked on my quilt, but I have been busy on another project. One of my favorite knitting books is Weekend Knitting by Melanie Falick. She has a great felted bag in it. You have to use wool that is not superwashed in order for it to felt. I love felting. It is my first project to felt. I have made 5 bags so far. They measure 9 inches wide and anywhere from 4 1/2 to 7 inches tall. These are great little accessory bags. Pens, pencils, cosmetics, sewing supplies- whatever you need a little bags for.
These will be great Christmas gifts for my nieces.
